FlamencoTalk.com is introducing a 4-day Spanish culture, art, and Flamenco workshop for children entering grades 1-5. The workshop is scheduled for Monday, July 28 - Thursday, July 31, 9am-12pm at Studio Aíre, 1041 Goss Ave. (entrance in the back of the building).

During this fun-filled 4-day intensive camp students will experience:

• Communication in Spanish language
• Gain understanding and appreciation of culture through art, music and dance
• Make connections between English and Spanish languages
• Compare their native language and culture to Spanish culture
• Apply their learning experience in the community
• Social interaction, artistic expression, physical excercise and coordination
• Flamenco dance, rhythm, and much more!
• Express themselves through sketching, drawing, painting and mixed media.
• Learn to show movement and rhythm through the visual arts.
• Study the ornamental design of the Moors, design your own fan, sketch the clothing and props of flamenco, and create 3-D collage of a dancer.

NOTE: Camp Performance and Art Exhibition: Thursday, June 26 at 11am at Studio Aíre. Open to the public.
