On Saturday, July 25th, 2009 from 8:30am to 3:00pm, The Hispanic and Advocacy Organizations (The Hispanic Coalition of Louisville, The Hispanic Latino Business Council and The Louisville Metro Human Relations Commission) hosted a free Cross Cultural Summit at Wesley House Community Center sponsored by Your Community Bank.
Many diversity organization in the Kentuckiana area participated in this first-of-its-kind community summit meeting. The meeting focused on:

• Race Relations between all cultures
• Workforce Development/Career Counseling
• Healthcare, Social Services
• Training for “first responders”
• Training sessions on how to “Know Your Rights” (for immigrants)
• Information booths for many community organizations
