Hospice Family Care located in Huntsville, AL is celebrating 30 years as Madison County’s only
not-for-profit hospice by hosting a gala on November 13, 2009, 6:30
p.m., at the Jackson Center on the campus of the Hudson-Alpha Institute
in Cummings Research Park.
The evening is sponsored by Lockheed Martin Corporation and will include a silent auction, formal dinner service, cash bar and a headline flamenco performance by FlamencoTalk of Louisville, KY. Flamenco is a Spanish musical and dance genre characterized by its upbeat tempo and audible dance steps. All proceeds raised through ticket sales and silent auction items will benefit the community programs of Hospice Family Care, including hospice, bereavement and caregiver support services for residents of Madison County affected by a terminal illness. Hospice Family Care has been serving Madison County since 1979 and is still the only not-for-profit hospice provider. The agency provides advanced, in-home healthcare to terminally-ill patients, as well as emotional and spiritual support for caregivers and families.
