WorldFest 2008

Join FlamencoTalk at the WorldFest 2008 on Belvedere, Saturday, August 30, 3:30-4:15pm on the Main Stage. This year, in addition to an already terrific lineup of local musicians and dancers, joining us for the performance is one of the prominent flamenco singers in US today, Vicente Griego. Vicente's passionate interpretation of flamenco and his captivating presence deliver a spectacular experience that transcends language and cultural barriers. Louisville's own international festival celebrates cultural diversity and tradition each year during the Labor Day weekend. Last year more than 60,000 people attended the festival during its two day run. The festival presents traditional art, entertainment, and cuisine of Africa, Asia, Europe, Central and South America.
