WorldFest 2008 Photos and Videos Thank you all who participated with FlamencoTalk at the WorldFest 2008 on Belvedere and all the fans that came to see us. This year, the festival seemed even more vibrant and colorful than before, and the heat index of over 100F did not stop the crowds or us from enjoying it. We premiered a new dance number at the festival, La Rondeña, with the choreography by an award-winning flamenco artist Antonio Hidalgo, choreography and arrangement by Mariya Tarakanova, and original musical composition by Brent Del Bianco. Our guest artist Vicente Griego, from Albuquerque, NM, astonished both, the spectators and the presenters of the festival with the power and soul of his voice. We were told that Vicente's singing could be heard as far as Main Street! For those of you who missed us at the WorldFest, we are bringing Vicente back in a few weeks and Louisville's flamenco fans will get another opportunity to appreciate his artistry.
