N ew session of Beginner classes is starting November 11, 2007 12:30-1:30pm
Students will learn a popular and festive Spanish dance Sevillanas. Sevillanas has a folk tradition and over the years has been flamenco-ized and incorporated into many Flamenco events. It can be heard and seen at ferias and festivals throughout southern Spain. Couples of all ages and sexes dance Sevillanas during celebrations. It's a great first dance to learn in Flamenco, since the choreography is very traditional and set and there are many opportunities to practice it. No previous experience required. |
