WHAT: Cuerpo Y Alma, High-energy Authentic Flamenco Performance

International cast of musicians and dancers will share the stage in an authentic Flamenco production "Cuerpo Y Alma" at the Clifton Center on April 11, at 8pm and April 13, at 2pm. Featured guest dancer and choreographer Antonio Hidalgo will be joined by guest singers Chayito Champion and Vicente Griego among others. A dazzling showcase of flamenco styles in sensual movement, fiery footwork and complex rhythms, as well as passionate interpretation of music that stands flamenco apart from other art forms are only some of the elements that will be highlighted during the show's two day run at the Clifton Center. Private Instruction - Antonio is available for private dance instruction in the afternoons starting Sunday, April 6. Contact Mariya Tarakanova at 502.345.2945 to schedule. $50/hour - guitar accompaniment optional, not included in price.

Beginner / Intermediate

This is a great opportunity to work with a world-class flamenco artist with a wealth of experience as a performer and master teacher. Maestro Hidalgo is a generous instructor who will lead you through technique for feet, upper body, flamenco structure and rhythm.

Intermediate / Advanced

A technique/choreography class for more experienced students. Bring your audio recorder during the week.
