FlamencoTalk.com Presents Antonio Hidalgo, the recipient of Premio Andaluz for artistic achievement in 2007, from Cordoba, Spain, in a week-long program of
flamenco workshops and performances in Louisville, Kentucky. Maestro
Hidalgo has performed and collaborated with numerous companies,
including Antonio Gades' company at the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla
2006 and has toured Spain, Europe, Japan, USA, and South America. The
program will kick off with two 5-day workshops for flamenco dance
students and culminate with two performances at the Clifton Center on
Friday, April 11, at 8pm and Sunday, April 13, at 2 p.m.

 A dazzling showcase of styles in sensual movement and fiery footwork,
primal pulse of rhythms, passion, and intoxicating music will be the
features of the authentic flamenco production "Cuerpo Y Alma" scheduled
to run on April 11, at 8pm and April 13, at 2pm at the Clifton Center
in Louisville, Kentucky. International cast of musicians and dancers,
featuring guest dancer and choreographer Antonio Hidalgo, singers
Chayito Champion and Vicente Griego, among others, will celebrate the
power and glory of flamenco, the hauntingly beautiful and complex art
